Motor Starters for Naval Application
Whippendell Marine has over 75 years experience in the design and manufacture of motor starters for a broad range of naval applications. Starters built by Whippendell Marine companies are in service in surface ships and submarines of the Royal Navy and others around the world. We are able to supply the full range of BR4540 standard naval starters to Def Stan 02-636, utilising our extensive range of codified components.
Alternatively, starters can be designed to meet the particular requirements of the application, either to full Defence or Lloyds Marine standards. Our engineers are familiar with the requirements of the naval environment and can design to meet stringent shock and EMC parameters. In addition our starters can incorporate remote I/O modules capable of interfacing with Integrated Platform Management Systems.
Whippendell Marine can also offer a full repair and refurbishment service and spares support package.
